Almost Turkey Day!

Holy cow, I am not sure how the time keeps flying by but I am really bad at blogging. Not much has happened with us in the past month though. We both celebrated our birthdays. Rob turned 27 and I turned 24. A couple of my friends came over and made some crafts with us.

I have been working on a lot of craft stuff. I have been making cards, gift ideas and jewelry. I have set up a site on Etsy I just need to get some things listed on it.

Rob has just been busy working. He seems to be enjoying the store at the District.

We are getting ready for Thanksgiving. We are going to Rob's Dad's house. We are deep frying a turkey - yum!

See nothing exciting to write about... :)

Moving

After much searching, we finally found a place that would work for all of us to live in. We spent countless hours driving the streets of Salt Lake and the place we landed on is only about 1.5 miles from the apartment. It is a 4 bedroom 2 bath. Rob and I are in the basement and Amber and Bill are upstairs. It is very spacious with a lot of room for all of us to live without feeling crammed into a tight spot.

We had a really big truck that we filled almost 2 times with stuff from the apartment and our storage unit.

Then we got everything moved into the new place. It was easier for us to go through everything after we had moved and pull it out for a yard sale.

So then we had one. We didn't make much but we were glad to get rid of some things and the rest made their way to D.I.
I will be getting pictures up of us moved in I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Wow, I can't believe how much I suck at this blogging thing! The past few months have been pretty eventful for us but for the most part they have been positive. Since losing my job I have a lot of time on my hands so I guess I can finally catch this thing up a bit. :) Here we go...

July 09

Another month later, and I am still not doing good at updating this thing! I will get better I promise (ok I know I have said that a few to many times but I am trying lol) We have been busy looking for homes to rent. Spending time driving all over the valley, checking websites for new listings all day long. It is definitely a lot of work. I am trying to figure out where I can start stacking more boxes so I can get more packed but I am not coming up with anything.

Rob rode in the MS150. He rode 100 miles the first day and I think around 42 the next. His poor knees got really sunburned. He has a funny farmers tan now though lol. He did great, he was so pooped afterwords though. I don't blame him!

Rob has been working at the nursery a lot and I have been working on making cards and other crafts. It is hard because everything is so cramed into a little space but that will be the past soon!

Our 4 year anniversary is coming up! I can't believe it! We have had some pretty eventful years but things are settling down to the point we can enjoy our marriage. Many keep wondering if kids are in the future, I guess we will see what happens lol. If the Lord feels the time is right it will happen. Thank goodness I didn't have kids last Fall, that would have made things much more difficult!

Anywho, we are continuing our search for the perfect house. We found one in West Valley that would have been perfect we just didn't have the cash to put down on it. Things will be very exciting when we do find a place! We can't wait!!

I am such a terrible blogger! :( Not much has been happening in our life though. The most exciting things we have been up to is we got Rock Band and it has been fun to play. We are looking for a home for all of us to live in. So needless to say, time for more packing. Rob replaced my camera and MP3 player. We replaced out laptop that was stolen 3 1/2 years ago. He is training for his bike ride next month, the MS150 - Harmon's Best Dam Bike tour up in Cache County. He is still working hard at the store and at Glover Nursery. I have a few more things to add but I have pictures to add so I will put those on soon. TTYL
