Christmas 2008

Christmas was great for us this year. We got to spend the whole weekend together because Rob was luck enough to have his 4 day weekend right after Christmas. We got to see a lot of family and that was really nice. I left my digital camera battery at work so I got to use my 35 mm but the only down fall of that is that I have to wait to get those developed. The weather made travel around the valley interesting but we got around successfully. I am sad that we didn't get up to Gillette or to Lyman but we will soon enough. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and I hope eveyone has great New Years Eve parties!

Christmas Eve

Oh my goodness! Can you believe how fast this month has flown by!? I never really feel truly prepared for Christmas (its the procrastinator in me) and this year is no different. I love that there is snow on the ground and I love that we have such great friends and family to spend the holidays with. What a great time of year! I love it, I am so glad that I have my great husband to spend the whole weekend with. That will be lots of fun but I have a feeling that I will lose my him to the Xbox when he opens his gifts tomorrow. Anyways, I hope everyone has a Merry and Safe Christmas

Thankful

Too often I find myself complainng about too much. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for everything. I know that sounds very broad but there is so much I have to be grateful for. My Family and Friends, my Health, my Job, My kitty and so much more. I know I need to say thanks more so THANK YOU!!!!!

After seeing this crazy economy become a roller coaster it makes you think a little. It makes you thankful for what you have and it makes you work just that much harder to make sure that you don't lose it. Finances have become a very frequently talked about subject in our home. We are so grateful to have our jobs, and for me to be going back to work on Monday but there is so much that we need to make up for and we continue to question how. I have applied for some part time jobs, but I haven't heard anything. A friend and I have toyed with the idea of starting an online craft business, but we are unsure of that. First I am not confident in myself to make things for others to enjoy. Second I worry that people won't have money to spend on the extras in life... oh so torn! I just want to be happy and healthy, that is really all that matters, and we are on that yellow brick road right now.

Another Dr. Appointment

I got my feeding tube out and the said that he was very pleased with the way that things looked. The re constructive surgery that he did looks great and my vocal chord closes on to it. I will go back to see him in six weeks and then six weeks later I will go in for another CT scan. This is all great! I go back to work on Monday and I will just work part time until the first of the year. I will be glad for some work to do during the day lol, I just don't want to wake up so early, ha ha!
